Stellaris ShipReady Control Probe Sets

ShipReady control probe sets for Stellaris™ RNA FISH significantly improve the ease of use for the Stellaris technology by providing convenient, ready-to-ship positive controls against reference messenger RNAs and long non-coding RNAs (mRNAs and lncRNAs). Both qualitative (localization) and quantitative (transcript counting) controls are available in the most commonly used model organisms including Human, Mouse, C. elegans, Drosophila, and Yeast. Stellaris ShipReady Probe Sets recognize RNAs from previously validated common control genes, are ready to ship, and the delivered amount is 1 nmol of pooled oligos (sufficient for 40-80 hybridisations).

The ShipReady control probe sets for Stellaris™️ RNA FISH have been discontinued and are no longer available for ordering or order fulfilment. To ensure a seamless transition for our valued customers, equivalent DesignReady Stellaris™️ RNA FISH Probe Sets with the exact same sequence sets are available on the Product info tab with an equivalency table for quick reference and ease of ordering.

Please note, the DesignReady Stellaris™️ RNA FISH Probe Sets are made to order with a 5-15 day turnaround time and are only available in a 5 nmol pack size (up to 400 hybridisations). This is different to ShipReady control probe sets for Stellaris™️ RNA FISH which had a 1 day turn around time and were in some cases only available as a 1 nmol pack size (40-80 hybridisations).

Product information: One set of Stellaris FISH probes contain a blend of 48 oligos labeled with a Quasar™ 570 fluorophore or Quasar 670 fluorophore. Probes arrive dried down and ready to use.

The protocols and FAQs apply to imaging on a widefield fluorescence microscope with at least a 60X-oil, 1.4 NA objective, mercury or metal halide lamps, and cooled CCD camera. We do not recommend confocal applications as an entry point, although we have many successful experienced confocal users.
